Departing from Rivière-Salée or Trois-Îlets, your nature loving guide will take you across the communes of Lamentin, St Joseph, Gros Morne, Sainte Marie, Marigot, Le Lorrain and Basse Pointe ! You’ll discover the rolling hills of the « grenier de la martinique », the farming culture and creole gardens, rich with food and beautiful flowers. You will also enjoy a stroll, stopping in the heart of the rainforest to take in your surroundings, visit a banana museum and visit the JM rum distillery.
Our good friend Charles, welcomes you in his home for a delicious lunch. A specialist in the dish « Colombo », Charles will show you the wonders and cultural uses of turmeric, before serving his speciality on the terrace, at the foot of the majestic Mout Pelée.
In the early afternoon, Olivier will guide you to the river for an invigorating swim, before making your way back to the south.
The day is punctuated by stops with unforgettable panoramic views, during which your guide’s provides you with an insight into martinican society : it’s history, culture, flora and fauna…
